Ackdesk for Confluence
Who has read the policy — on the page, in Confluence search, and in one report.
An Atlassian Forge app by DataForte AB, available on the Atlassian Marketplace.
What it does
- Ask everyone, a group, or named people to confirm they have read a Confluence page. Each person clicks once; the signature records who, when, and which version they read.
- A new page version reopens the round and clears the signatures, because a signature against version 3 is not evidence that anyone read version 7.
- Signatures can be given a shelf life per space. A daily sweep reopens the round when the period lapses, even on pages nobody has opened for a year.
- The state is written to a Confluence label, so
label = "ack-outstanding"finds every page still waiting, in Confluence’s own search. - One report shows where the company stands: overall coverage, which spaces are behind, what has been waiting longest, and each person’s own outstanding reading list.
- Runs entirely on Atlassian Forge with no external calls — nothing about your pages or people leaves Atlassian, and there is no server to run.
