Support

Ackdesk for Confluence is built and supported by DataForte AB.

Before you write

Most questions fall into one of these:

Where do I find it on a page? Ackdesk appears next to the page byline, under the title. It shows the current state, and clicking it opens the reviewers and the actions.

Nothing happens when I ask for approval. Approvals are recorded only while the subscription is active. If the licence lapsed, existing approvals stay visible but new decisions are not recorded.

An approved page went back to “In review”. That is deliberate: someone edited the page. The approval described the previous version, so it was cleared. A space admin can switch this off in Space settings → Approvals.

An approval expired on its own. The space has a review-by period. Clear it in the space settings if approvals should last indefinitely.

Searching for approved pages. The state is mirrored onto a page label. Search Confluence for label = "approval-approved" or label = "approval-expired". The prefix can be changed in the site settings.

Who can approve? Only the people listed as reviewers on that request. Everyone else sees the state but not the buttons.
